Ten-man Ghana Humble Super Eagles
- Updated: January 29, 2014

The Black Stars of Ghana have qualified for the final of this year African Nations Championship after holding Nigeria to a 0-0 draw with ten men and beating the Super Eagles 4-1 on penalties.
Despite playing one man short, Ghana did well to resist the Super Eagles for an hour after Kwabena Adusei’s 64th minute red card at Free State Stadium Wednesday.
Nigeria’s attack, unlike in previous games was clumsy ans lacked cohesiveness against a solid Ghanian oppositin.
The closest Nigeria came was in added time at the end of extra-time when Imenger Barnabus had a close-range header superbly tipped over.
Nigeriawent on to miss two of their first three penalty kicks, while the Black Stars converted each of their four to book a final date against Libya.
In the first semi-final match, Libya also defeated Zimbabwe via penalty shoot-outs after a 0-0 draw.
