Stephen Keshi To Defend Osaze/Uche Exclusion
- Updated: April 8, 2014

Following their unhappiness over the exclusion of Peter Odemwingie and Ike Uche from the provisional squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brail, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will request that Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi to defend his decision in a meeting on April 26 in Abuja.
NFF Technical Committee, organisers of the meeting will also deliberate on the country’s plans for the global event according to chairman of chairman of the committee, Chris Green.
“The committee will meet on April 26 to discuss the World Cup,” he said.
“Expectations are very high and so we cannot afford to fail.”
Odemwingie has scored four goals in eight appearances for Stoke City since joining them in late January from Cardiff City.
NFF President Aminu Maigari and Technical Committee chairman Chris Green were forced to proceed on a fence-mending exercise after the meeting was rescheduled for a new date of April 22.
The re-conciliatory moves appear to have yielded fruit, with majority of the aggrieved members confirming their attendance.
The meeting, which was initially slated for March 26 was shifted forward due to Keshi’s ”flight difficulties” from the USA.
