Seedorf Sets For Greatest Test Against Juventus

AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf says he is happy with his team’s improvement since he took over last month.

Milan won 2-0 at Sampdoria on Sunday to climb to ninth in Serie A.

One of Seedorf and Milan’s biggest tests will come this weekend when they take on Serie A leaders Juventus at the San Siro.

“(Juve coach Antonio) Conte’s team is doing great things,” Seedorf said to Gazzetta dello Sport. “But we have one week to prepare for this match.

“We will play at home and we will try to win.”

Milan have lost just one and won four of their six league games under Seedorf, who replaced sacked Massimiliano Allegri back in January.

The Rossoneri are five points adrift of city rivals Inter, who hold the last Europa League qualifying spot.

“We would go crazy if we looked at the table,” Seedorf said. “We just have to try to improve and grow.

“Only at the end of the season will we analyse our campaign.

“There’s no doubt the win at Sampdoria has given us further strength and a morale boost to continue improving.”
