NFF Expresses Confidence In Keshi, Rules Out Foreign Technical Adviser
- Updated: April 10, 2014

Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Media and Publicity Committee, Emeka Inyama says the country’s soccer governing body is satisfied with the response of Super Eagles coach Stephen to the query issued to the former Togo manager.
Inyama said the federation has amicably settled all previous disagreement with Keshi, adding that there was no longer tension between NFF and Keshi.
“There have been very worrying issues between the Federation and the Super Eagles,” Inyama said.
“Keshi is an employee of the NFF and we are his employers. We have had a wonderful working relationship since Keshi was employed.”
Inyama also dismissed rumours concerning NFF’s plan to hire the services of a foreign technical adviser. He said the NFF had no such plan, adding that they have utmost confidence in Keshi’s ability.
“I want to use this platform to clarify that the Federation does not have any plans whatsoever to hire any other coach for the World Cup,” he assured.
“We have confidence in Stephen Keshi and we will support him to win. We are focused on the World Cup and in two months’ time, we will go to Brazil and come back with a commendable result,” he added.
