Mba making case for Eagles World Cup squad

Nigeria’s Africa Nations Cup heroe Sunday Mba has scored in his first full game for French team as CA Bastia progress to the next round of of the Coupe de France after victory over Niort.
The Super Eagles midfielder, who said he decided to join Bastia to boost his chances of making coach Stephen Keshi’s final squad to the the 2014 World Cup scored his side’s equaliser with just 1 minute left to end the game 2-2, before they went on to win 5-4 on via penalties.
The former Warri Wolves star also converted one of the penalty kicks. Coincidentally, Mba made his Ligue 2 debut against same opponents this summer, but on a losing side following a 3-0 defeat.
The 25 year old joined CA Bastia in an 18 month deal that will see him remain in Cossica until June 30, 2015.
