- Updated: June 10, 2014

Cesc Fabregas’ move to Stamford Bridge is being held up by his former club Arsenal.
The former Gunner is expected to leave the Nou Camp and join Chelsea after new Barcelona coach Luis Enrique told the Spanish international that he was not part of his plans.
The deal to sign Fabregas, which is rumoured to be in the region of £33m, was expected to be announced later this week after Barcelona confirmed the signing of his replacement, Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic.
According to reports in Spain, Barca agreed a £17m deal for the Croatian international last week.
Personal terms are still being agreed but it is reported that the Catalan giants have offered Rakitic a three-year-deal.
Arsenal are entitled to 50% of the profit on any transfer Fabregas makes for a fee over £26m”
But now Fabregas’ proposed move to Stamford Bridge is being held up by the Gunners.
The clause in the Fabregas’ contract has made Blues owner Roman Abramovich wary of signing the former Arsenal man.
He does not want to pay the Gunners a single penny to secure the services of Fabregas and the Chelsea chief now wants to renegotiate a price for the the Barca man.
