CHAN Kicks Off Today as Nigeria Play Mali

Nigeria and Mali will face each other for the first time today at the African Nations Championship (CHAN), which kicks off in Cape Town, South Africa today.
The Super Eagles are in group A along side Mali, Mozambique and host,South Africa.
As part of preparations for the tournament, which is exclusively designed for home based players, beat their Ethiopian counterparts 2-1 in Abuja last Saturday with goals from Ifeanyi Ede and Ugonna Uzochukwu.
Nigeria beat Ivory Coast 4-3 to make their debut at the tournament.
Zimbabwe, Morocco, Uganda and Burkina Faso are in-group B, while the Black stars of Ghana will battle Libya, Congo and Ethiopia in group C. In group D are DR Congo, Burundi, Gabon and Mauritania.
The tournament will end on 1 February.
