Bayern Extend Unbeaten Record As Lewandowski Nets A Brace For Dortmund

Bayern Munich extended their unbeaten streak to 45 games with a 2-0 victory in the Bavarian derby at Nuremberg.

After two injury-enforced alterations, Nurnberg lost their shape and Bayern took control of the game, going close numerous times to making it two before Philipp Lahm sealed victory number 18 of the season on the hour mark.

Eintracht Frankfurt lifted themselves away from the bottom three with three first-half goals enough to see off the challenge of Eintracht Braunschweig and leave them rooted to the foot of the table.

Johannes Flum got things going for Armin Veh’s men in the seventh minute before two quick-fire goals from Alexander Meier and Stefan Aigner sealed a 3-0 victory before the break.

Braunschweig tried to make a fight of it in the second half, but the damage had already been done as Frankfurt held on to their second win of 2014.
