Sanchez Arrives For Arsenal Medical, As Khedira Hopes To Join Ozil at The Emirates
- Updated: July 10, 2014

Chile forward Alexis Sanchez looks set to join the Arsenal after a fee was agreed between them and Barcelona and personal terms sorted.
Personal terms are also believed to have been sorted and the Chilean arrived in London for his medical on Thursday.
Sanchez was holidaying in Fortamena Wednesday but things moved quickly as parties look to tie up the move.
Reports in London also suggest that the 25 year-ol could be unveiled any moment from now, although there are other indications that Barca may wish to formally complete the signing of Luis Suarez before rubber-stamping his exit.
The Gunners are also expected to bring in France defender Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle as manager Arsene Wenger looks to build on last season’s FA Cup final success.
Meanwhile, Sami Khedira is pushing for a move to Arsenal, according to reports in Spain.
The German international is reported to have rejected a contract offer from Real Madrid.
Furthermore, they indicate the 27-year-old is keen to swap Madrid for north London and join compatriots Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker at the Emirates.
Indeed, it is believed the duo could play a potentially crucial role in seeing the transfer through.
El Confidencial suggest that a new two-year deal is on offer at the Bernabeu but that the midfielder is considering his options.
One stumbling block could be Khedira’s wages – at £150,000 he would become the Gunners’ highest earner.
