Arsenal Set to Bounce Back To Top

Arsenal will look to their record at Villa Park as they attempt to reclaim the top spot in the Premier League in front of disgruntled home fans when they face Aston Villa on Monday.

The last time Aston Villa managed a win against the Gunners at Villa Park was 1998 when Dion Dublin snatched a late win against the visitors.

Going into this crucial fixture with this excellent record as well as morale-boosting news of the much anticipated return of fit again winger Alex- Oxlade Chamberlain and  injured striker Olivier Giroud, Arsene Wenger’s team look set to return to London with maximum three points.

Contrarily, Aston Villa have been struggling since after their opening day 3-1 victory against the Gunners at the Emirates stadium back in August. Manager seems to have lost his magic following series of defeat including a shock League Cup semi-final first-leg defeat at League two Bradford City as well as lats weekend’s FA Cup defeat at the hands of Sheffield United.

Villa have lost half of their last 48 premier League matches at Villa Park, earning just 41 points in that period.
