African Champions Open Camp In America

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have landed in the United States of America as the team continues it preparations towards next month’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The African champions arrived in the USA on Thursday evening from London, where they held Scotland to a 2-2 draw in an international friendly at Craven Cottage on Wednesday.

The thirty-man provisional squad is expected to resume training Friday morning at the Lincoln Financial Field in readiness for next week’s warm up match against former European champions, Greece.

Team coach, Stephen Keshi faces a huge task in picking seven out of the thirty players in camp to be dropped in a few days in time to meet FIFA deadline for the submission of the 23 man list.
