Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Higuain and Angel di Maria scored two first half goals
in two minutes as a highly spirited Argentina side humbled the Super Eagles of
Nigeria 3-1 in an international friendly in Bangladesh Tuesday .

In a desperate attempt to avenge their 4-1 humiliation by the Nigerians in June,
Argentina paraded their first team led by Barcelona's world best footballer Lione
Messi who captained the South Americans in front of a capacity crowd in
Bangabandhu stadium in Dhaka.

Higuain opened scoring in the 24th minute before his Real Madrid team mate di
Maria doubled the lead a minute later.

Super Eagles returnee Chinedu Obasi threw the game opened after tapping in
Obinna Nsofor's cross to score Nigeria's only goal a minute into the second half
.

Playing without captain Joseph Yobo, Taiye Taiwo, Osaze Odemwengie ,
Victor Anichebe and ever reliable goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, the Nigerian
side looked better coordinated in the second half before an own goal in the 65th
minute by Uwa Echiejile sealed victory for the South Americans .
